About us

 

Camp Sanders is organized to provide a wholesome environment and affordable facilities

for persons young and old to grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Here at Camp Sanders, we provide camp, retreat and conference facilities in picturesque southern Benewah County, Idaho. Ministries, churches, non-profit and educational organizations utilize Camp Sanders for meetings, seminars, training classes and retreats in a comfortable, rustic rural setting of over 90 acres. Indian Creek meanders through the camp and feeds the water for Little Gem Lake, a small recreational pond on the campgrounds.

 

We offer facilities for both small groups and groups as large as 175. In addition to overnight accommodations which include dorms, cabins, and bunkhouses, the camp can also provide meal services.  The camp offers several small, medium and large group meeting venues including the Dining Hall, Bertholf Memorial Lakeside Chapel, and the historic Camp Sanders Tabernacle (circa 1935) pictured below.

 

Camp Sanders also has 10 RV spaces with electrical, water, and sewer hook-ups for those in your group who have campers or recreational vehicles. 

 

Our facility rates are among the lowest in the region. Whatever your retreat, camp, family or seminar needs, Camp Sanders can provide it in a beautiful setting and at a reasonable cost. 

 

Camp Sanders is owned and operated by Sanders Christian Camp, Inc., a non-profit corporation governed by an independent Board of Directors.
